Lauren built Living with Lolo into one of Scottsdale's most recognized luxury interior design firms. What set it apart from the start was the firm's dual identity as both a licensed interior design practice and a licensed general contracting firm (Arizona ROC #347577), meaning clients could complete a full design-build project under one contract, with one team.
As AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude grew in prominence, Lauren noticed something: when people asked these tools to recommend an interior designer in Scottsdale, Living with Lolo was often not in the answer. Despite the awards, the press, and the client work, the firm had no meaningful presence in AI-generated responses.
She built a methodology to fix it. Entity optimization. Content structured for AI citation. Schema markup. Monthly tracking across eight to ten category queries per client. She applied the system to Living with Lolo first, documented the results (AI visibility improved from 42% to 65% in 60 days), and then launched Cited Co in 2026 to make the methodology available to other service businesses.
Lolo Development, her third company, applies the Living with Lolo design sensibility to property acquisition and renovation in Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix area. Each property is acquired, renovated by the Living with Lolo team, and resold.
